Sing praises to the Lord

King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Jesus Christ, the risen one
Emmanuel, Prince of peace
Guardian of my heart

In honour of Your name
The stars sing out Your praise
As they twinkle in nighttime
They speak of Your beauty and glowing grace

Sing praises to the Lord
Sing worthy is the Lord
All glory and worship
Belongs to You

Abba Father
Creator of this living thing
Never will You let me go
Embrace me in Your arms

In wonder of Your love
We humbly come, bow down
To lift up all the cares and the worries
To trade in for this one and only desire

We lift up our hands
We lift up our hearts
Every breath, every step
By You and for You

Sing praises to the Lord
Sing worthy is the Lord
All glory and worship
Belongs to You

Emmanuel, Prince of peace
Guardian of my heart
Never will You let me go
Embrace me in Your arms

After writing this, I got quite excited, realising this was my first proper song, "proper" in the sense that it had all components of: verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge. haha.
